Evesham Meeting Centre

Meeting Centres were originally developed in the Netherlands and were brought to the UK by the University of Worcester’s Association for Dementia Studies. Operating from Church Street in Evesham, this is a local resource that offers on-going warm and friendly expert support to people with mild to moderate dementia and their families. At the heart of the Meeting Centre is a social club where people meet to have fun, talk to others and get help that focuses on what they need. Meeting Centres are based on sound research evidence on what helps people to cope well in adjusting to living with symptoms and changes that dementia brings.

The Meeting Centre is open Tuesday , Wednesday and Thursday 10.00am to 3.00pm. If you are interested in attending the Meeting Centre to have a FREE taster day , please ring the office 01386 429454.

Bridging Generations

Evesham and Pershore Colleges, in collaboration with The Rotary Club of Evesham, is organising a series of ‘Bridging Generations’ events where young and older people can interact. During term time, students organise a lunch once a month, followed by a social event. If interested, go to the website therotaryclubofevesham.org.uk  and use ‘contact us’. During the Covid period the face-to-face meetings are replaced with a take-away tea.
